Refund Policy

If the number we provide does not work at the carrier store, we will replace it immediately or refund your $9.99 in full. No hoops, no argument.

Our Guarantee

We sell real US telephone numbers on live networks. We stand behind the quality of what we deliver. If a number we provide fails at the carrier store through no fault of your own, you are entitled to either a free replacement number or a full refund of your purchase price.

When You Qualify for a Refund or Replacement

You are eligible for a refund or replacement in the following situations:

Carrier store says the number is not valid or cannot be ported

✓ Eligible

You never received the credentials email within 30 minutes of payment

✓ Eligible

The account number or PIN provided does not match what the carrier's system expects

✓ Eligible

Technical failure on our end prevents fulfillment of your order

✗ Not eligible

Carrier declines to honor a promotional deal for any reason unrelated to the number itself

✗ Not eligible

You provided the wrong email address and cannot retrieve your credentials

✗ Not eligible

Request made more than 48 hours after purchase

✗ Not eligible

Credentials were already successfully used at a carrier store

How to Request a Refund or Replacement

    Contact us within 48 hours of purchase. Email support@portanumber.com with your order email address and a brief description of what happened at the carrier store.

    We will respond within 1 hour during business hours (Mon–Fri 9am–6pm ET). For replacement requests we aim to send new credentials within 15 minutes of verifying your claim.

    Choose replacement or refund. If you want a fresh number we will provision one and send it immediately. If you prefer a refund we will process it back to your original payment method.

    Refunds appear in 5–10 business days depending on your card issuer. Stripe processes the refund on our end within 24 hours.

Replacement vs Refund

In most cases a replacement number is the fastest solution. We can provision a fresh number and have it in your inbox within minutes. However if you prefer a refund for any reason we will always honor that too. The choice is entirely yours.

Carrier Promotion Decisions

We want to be transparent about one important distinction. Our service provides a valid port-in number credential. Whether a carrier chooses to honor a specific promotional offer is a decision made entirely by that carrier and is outside our control. If a carrier store declines to apply a promotion for reasons unrelated to the validity of the number itself, that outcome is not covered by our refund policy.

Examples of carrier decisions outside our control include changing promotion eligibility requirements, store-level promotional limits, account history flags, or device availability.
